Venus isn't. Swatch describes this one as celebrating the planet of love in powdery pink with oval sub-dials, and once you've noticed it you can't stop seeing it: three soft ellipses where every other mission has three hard circles. It's the only watch in the range whose dial isn't drawn with a compass, and it's the reason this model reads gentler than anything else Swatch built for the collection.

The size: 20mm
Every MoonSwatch takes a 20mm strap, Venus included. No mission is different, so there's no measuring and no checking.

A watch with no contrast to spare
Look at what Venus is actually made of. The case is pink Bioceramic. The dial is pink. The hour, minute, seconds and counter hands are pink. The contrast tone across the dial is beige. That's the entire palette — a pastel watch built from one colour family and one warm neutral, in a collection where most missions rely on hard black-and-white contrast to carry the Speedmaster look.
Which is what makes the oval sub-dials matter so much. Venus has almost no tonal contrast to define its dial with, so the shapes are doing that job instead. The geometry is the design.
And here's the part nobody mentions: the factory strap is white. Bright, flat white — a colour that appears nowhere on the watch. Swatch paired a powdery pink watch with the one tone its own dial never uses, and on the wrist it reads as a slightly hard edge on an otherwise soft object. It isn't wrong, exactly. It just isn't the watch's own idea.
Two practical notes before you change it. Bioceramic is hard but marks more easily than steel, and the case is a monobloc that can't be sent away for a tidy-up — so work on a soft cloth, keep the spring-bar tool square to the bar, and keep metal away from the case flanks. On a pale case, any slip shows.

1. Pink — commit to the colour
The most confident answer and the one that suits the design best. A full pink rubber strap makes the whole thing one continuous pink object from lug to buckle — case, dial, hands and strap in the same family — which does something specific: with no colour breaks anywhere, the oval sub-dials become the only thing your eye can catch on. Swatch put white next to pink and left the pink out of the strap entirely. A white strap with a pink line is the same relationship with the missing half restored: white ground, one pink stroke, so the strap belongs to the watch instead of merely sitting under it. It's the direct upgrade on the strap the watch came with, and the easiest recommendation to make to someone who liked the original look but not the original material.
3. White on white — the quiet version
If bright white felt too stark and full pink feels too committed, this is the middle. A tone-on-tone white strap keeps the neutral idea of the factory strap but softens it — the texture change gives it depth where flat Velcro gives it none, and it lets the pink case be the only colour in the frame without shouting about it. The most wearable option here across a whole summer.
4. Beige with a white line — the colour the dial actually uses
The pick that pays attention. Venus's contrast tone isn't white at all: it's beige, sitting right there on the dial. A beige strap with a white line continues the watch's own second colour rather than importing a new one, and the result is the most tonally correct configuration available — warm, soft, and completely coherent with a pastel case. It's filed under a different mission, which is precisely the point made further up: the collection labels are about colour, not fit.
